Logan Hojoon Jang, PhD, is the founder of Logan Fundamental Equity Research, which publishes fundamental equity research on the AI value chain and adjacent sectors across US and Korean listings. Each report publishes a fair-value band, an entry level, sell baselines, and a stated rating, with exit conditions committed at publication.

He was previously an Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Corporate Governance and Sustainability (KCGS), the capital markets institute behind Korea's corporate governance code and the ratings used in Korea Exchange thematic indices. There he authored the annual capital markets research report covering 2,500+ listed companies, led a six-person team, built SQL and Python screening pipelines to identify manufacturing stocks trading at a 15 to 30% discount to peers on disclosure weakness, and modeled downside risk for low-rated companies under the KCGS governance ratings used by major institutional allocators.

He completed mandatory military service as a Financial Specialist at the Capital Defense Command, Republic of Korea Army, where he designed a demand-forecasting module and an automated reconciliation system for daily financial records.

He earned a PhD and MS in Business Administration from Seoul National University, where his research examined equity valuation, M&A, and the effect of disclosure on firm value, and a BA in Economics and Sociology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, completed in three years with Dean's List honors.
